9/12/17: Prachuap Khiri Khan is a province along the Thai Malay Peninsula bordered by Myanmar in the west and the Gulf of Thailand to the east. Kasetsart University has a forestry station along the coast where forestry students are trained. This station is also open to researchers, and I was able to spend an evening there looking for skinks. In particular, I was interested in finding the fossorial limbless skink, Isopachys anguinoides. I also found a large number of Lygosoma bowringii. It was a beautiful place to work!
